From old pool complex to new green grass (almost)

Contractors have finished work on the demolition of the old TSB Pool Complex in King Edward Park.

The facility was a much-loved recreational venue for decades, and it’s been wonderful hearing people share their happy and splashy memories of the facility.

We’re returning the area back into a green space, so please respect the fencing that’s in place to allow the hydroseeded grass to grow.

Hydroseeding can germinate grass up to 50% faster than traditional methods because the slurry creates an ideal environment for seed growth! That means less time to wait before you create more happy memories in King Edward Park’s newest green oasis.
